Long-time film critic for ABC news with a gift for articulate movie reviews. He was a regular on “Good Morning America” where his Friday morning movie reviews were often later used in newspapers, television, billboards, and movie ads. Siegel also hosted the annual “Joel Siegel’s Road to the Academy Awards” show that was syndicated to more than 100 stations nationwide. He died from colon cancer, which he had been battling since he was 57. He is survived by his wife and son.
