Denny Doherty

Died: Jan. 19, 2007 (Mississauga, Ontario)

Founding member and lead singer of the 1960s pop-folk band the Mamas and the Papas. The group's harmony-laden hits included "California Dreamin'" and "Monday Monday." He also starred in the children's television program Theodore Tugboat, providing the voices for all the characters.
