Hollywood director best known for his 1983 film “A Christmas Story.”
The cult classic is now shown annually on TBS in the weeks leading up to
Christmas. For the four decades prior to making “A Christmas Story,” Clark
directed horror films like “Black Christmas,” and stories of teen angst
such as “Porky’s.” He and his son were killed by a drunk driver on a Los
Angeles highway.
