I was just wondering if anyone knows this famous quote or where I can find it: "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers." I believe the person was from Misssissippi and won a Pulitzer Prize in 1947.

The Answer:

Blanche Dubois' exit line in A Streetcar Named Desire was that she had "always relied on the kindness of strangers." In 1948, Mississippian Tennessee Williams was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for this play.
