States government?
The Answer:
We get lots of mail asking us for information on the salaries of
politicians in Washington D.C. Here's a quick look at the House and
Senate.
In 2006, the speaker of the House had a salary of $212,100; the
majority and minority leaders and the president pro tempore all had
salaries of $183,500; and other U.S. senators and representatives had
salaries of $165,200.
