We admire your hard work. Six years after we posted our original answer to this (finding only non-Laotian recipes on sites that no longer exist), the Web has come through. We've found recipes for Lao Chicken Soup, Kai Keng Khao Poon Chin (Hot Chicken Soup with Chinese Vermicelli), another version of that one, and Laotian Chicken and Rice Soup. We hope they were worth the wait.
