The Answer:
We can't believe how many people have asked us this!
The Statue of Liberty's
face was modeled after the features of Auguste-Charlotte Bartholdi,
the mother of the statue's sculptor, Frederic August Bartholdi.
Lady Liberty's nose is 4 1/2 feet (1.4 meters) long. Each eye is
2 1/2 feet (0.8 meters) across.
